Iran's budget dependence on oil to be increased

TEHRAN, Iran, Dec. 3

Trend:

Iranian government has forecasted the oil revenues to be at $47.5 billion, for the next Iranian year`s budget bill (start on March 21, 2021), which has increased the budget dependence on oil revenues to 23.7 percent, compared to the current Iranian year's budget law (end on March 21, 2021), Trend reports via Mehr News Agency.

The ceiling of oil revenues in the current Iranian year's budget law (started on March 21) was set at about $13.5 billion.

Accordingly, the prediction for oil revenues in the next Iranian budget bill has increased by 250 percent, compared to the current year.

Since public resources in the next Iranian year`s budget bill are predicted to be about $200 billion, it can be concluded that the budget dependence on oil is about 23.7 percent.
