Greece lowers petroleum oils import from Azerbaijan

Greece imported 222,437,900 kg of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals, crude from Azerbaijan in September 2020, as compared to 227,873,200 kg in July, Eurostat told Trend.

No petroleum oils and oils were exported from Azerbaijan to Greece in August.

In January 2020, this figure stood at 138,681,900 kg, 220,316,200 kg in March, 90,446,100 kg in April and 83,336,300 kg in June.

The value of exports is as follows: 63,709,801 euros in January, 72,968,059 euros in March, 11,452,938 euros in April, 24,151,364 euros in June, 71,101,071 euros in July and 63,495,765 euros in September.

The export of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals, crude from Azerbaijan to 27 European Union (EU) countries showed a month-on-month decline in August 2020.

The data shows that the volume of exports stood at 1,485,733,700 kg (1 637 741 tons) in August 2020 valued at 445,424,133 euros, as compared to 1,916,683,900 kg (2,112,782 tons) valued at 574,168,907 euros in July 2020.

The lowest level of exports was recorded in May 2020 with 1,174,745,000 kg (1,294,934 tons) valued at 229,490,490 euros, while the highest level was observed in January 2020 with 2,133,565,600 kg (2,351,853 tons) of 1,019,130,004 euros.
