Some 347,100 tons of oil bitumen have been produced in Azerbaijan from January through November 2020, thus growing by 51.5 percent year on year, Trend reports on Dec.21 referring to the report of the State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, 179,500 tons of petroleum coke were produced, which is 17.9 percent less than in the same period of 2019. As of December 1, 2020, the stock of this product amounted to 47,000 tons, and bitumen – 15,100 tons.
In the past 11 months, the total volume of oil products production in Azerbaijan in monetary terms made up 2.8 billion manat ($1.6 billion), which is 1.8 percent less than in the same period of 2019.
