Azerbaijan produced 2.39 billion kWh of electricity in December 2020, the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan told Trend.
According to the ministry, the production of electricity in the country in 2020 amounted to 25.8 billion kWh.
The country's electricity exports in the reporting month amounted to 157.56 million kWh, while imports - 10.7 million kWh, said the ministry.
Electricity production by Azerenerji OJSC in 2020 amounted to 23.03 billion kWh (TPP - 22.14 billion kWh), the State Energy Service of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic - 429 million kWh (TPP - 230.8 million kWh) h, solar power plant - 41.1 million kW / h), other power plants - 2.27 billion kW / h, wind power stations of Azerishig OJSC - 75.1 million kW / h.
