Ukrainian Motor Sich JSC will carry out the repair work of nine gas generator engines at Uzbekneftegaz JSC in 2021, Trend reports with reference to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz.
According to the information, 24 compressor stations are operated in the management and at the factories of Uzbekneftegaz. When producing hydrocarbons using these stations, more than 90% of the gas production plan is being implemented.
It was noted that in order to ensure the uninterrupted operation of these stations, timely replacement of units, compressors, and engines is required, as well as routine and overhaul repairs.
It is reported that a number of measures have been outlined to organize high-quality and timely overhaul of equipment to restore the production capacities of oil and gas production departments.
In particular, a direct agreement has been concluded with the Ukrainian Motor Sich JSC for the repair of AI-336-2-8 and D-336 gas generator engines.
According to the agreement, five AI-336-2-8 gas-generating engines were sent to the Ukrainian state in 2020. This year, nine such gas generator engines are planned to be sent to the Ukrainian Motor Sich JSC for repair.
Uzbekneftegaz reports that five repaired gas turbine engines after overhaul and testing were accepted by the Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department. One of them is installed at the compressor station of the plant for producing propane-butane mixture. The second was installed and put into operation at the gas-pumping units of the Zevarda compressor station of the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department.
It is also reported that in connection with the overhaul by the manufacturer of gas turbine engines of the brand and the availability of a warranty period of 4,000 hours under an agreement between the parties, the acceptance of the engines, installation, and start-up of the unit was carried out jointly with representatives of Motor Sich JSC.
