Azerbaijan exported 574,033 tons of crude oil worth over $215.9 million to India from January through February 2021, Trend reports on Mar.18 referring to the State Statistical Committee.
According to the committee, in the reporting period, the total volume of Azerbaijan’s oil export was more than 5.6 million tons, up by 0.3 percent over the year, while the total export value – over $2 billion (25 percent decrease compared to 2M2020). The share of India in the crude oil exports of Azerbaijan amounted to 10 percent.
In 2020, trade turnover between them exceeded $582.7 million, of which more than $456.7 million fell on export from Azerbaijan to India, and over $125.9 million – on import of Indian products by Azerbaijan.
