Water and electricity facilities to be put into operation in Iran

Several water and electricity facilities at a cost of 1.75 trillion rials (about $41.6 million) will be put into operation in Iran tomorrow on April 20, Trend reports citing Ministry of Energy of Iran.

According to the report, the presentation of an Iranian-made steam turbine rotor will be held in Tehran. The length of this rotor is 6 meters and volume – 15 tons. This rotor was manufactured by reverse engineering and cost about 1 million euro.

“In addition, two units 1-megawatt solar panel stations and two units 63-kilovolt substations will be put into operation in Iran's Isfahan Province,” the report said.

At the same time, a water filtration center with the capacity of filtering 120 liters of water per second and two units 63-kilovolt substations will be put into operation in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, the report said.

According to the report, 62 villages in 16 provinces of Iran will be supplied with electricity.
