Greece decreases petroleum oil exports from Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan has exported 269,252 tons of crude petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 92.2 million euros to Greece in February 2021, a Eurostat official told Trend.

In turn, Kazakhstan exported 761,326 tons of petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 240.7 million euros to Greece over the period from January through February 2021.

Thus, the February volume of petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals from Kazakhstan to Greece is 41.7 percent less than in volume compared to January 2021 (462,064 tons) and is 34.7 percent less than in January 2020 (413,010 tons).

February export value is also 37.9 percent less than in January 2021 (148.5 million euros) and is 49.8 percent less than in Jan. 2020 (189.3 million euros).

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Greece amounted to $193.01 million from January through February 2021, compared to $222.8 million during the same period of 2020.

Kazakhstan’s exports to Greece amounted to $189.3 million from January through February 2021, compared to $219.5 billion during the same period of 2020.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from Greece amounted to nearly $3.6 million over the reporting period, compared to $3.2 million during the same period of 2020.
