The Czech Republic imported 37,260 tons of oil from Azerbaijan from January through April 2021, Trend reports on May 25 with reference to the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
In value terms, this figure was $17.6 million.
Azerbaijan as a whole exported 10.7 million tons of oil from January through April 2021, which is by 9.2 percent less than from January through April 2020.
In value terms, oil worth $4.3 billion was exported from January through April 2021, which is by 9.7 percent less than from January through April 2020.
According to the EU statistical office - Eurostat, the Czech Republic imported 219,000 tons of crude oil from Azerbaijan in January 2020, 189,000 tons - in February, 69,000 tons - in March, 78,000 tons - in April.
Azerbaijan exported 694,000 tons of crude oil to the Czech Republic from January through May 2020 compared to 933,000 tons in the same period of 2019.
