SOCAR supplies roughly 4,000 tons of Lithuanian gasoline to Ukraine

Ukrainian subsidiary of Azerbaijan's state oil company SOCAR supplied 3,900 tons of Lithuanian motor gasoline to the country in June 2021, Trend reports citing Ukrainian media.

The main suppliers of Lithuanian motor gasoline in June were OKKO and WOG, which delivered 13,400 tons and 12,600 tons, respectively. Amic Ukraine supplied 4,500 tons, while SOCAR Energy Ukraine, Alliance Oil Ukraine and KLO delivered 3,900 tons, 2,200 tons and 500 tons, respectively.

Imports of motor gasoline to Ukraine decreased by 20 percent in June and stood at 93,300 tons, compared to 117,100 tons in the same period of 2020. Supplies of A-95 gasoline fell by 5.8 percent and amounted to 70,300 tons, while A-92 deliveries dropped by 45 percent and stood at 23,000 tons.

Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR’s representative office opened in Ukraine in 2008.

The company acquired about 20 Tala-Nafta filling stations in Odessa and Nikolaev regions. as well as Svitanok large oil depot in Odessa region in 2009.

The company took control of the fuelling networks ONIO (four filling stations in Kyiv and the region) and GFC (in Lviv region) in 2010-2011. SOCAR received permission from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine to purchase 26 filling stations and one tank farm of the Kalina group in August 2012.
