Azerbaijani power plants have increased generation of electricity from January through June 2021, Trend reports on July 15 referring to the report of the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry.
According to the ministry, this indicator made up over 13.2 billion kilowatt-hours, which is by 254.2 million kilowatt-hours more than in the same period of last year.
In the first half of 2021, electricity generation by wind power plants reached 47.1 million kilowatt-hours.
Meanwhile, solar power plants produced 26.2 million kilowatt-hours, and power plant at a solid waste disposal plant in Baku – 112.7 million kilowatt-hours of electricity.
