Iran's Shimibaft Petrochemical Company sold 10,300 tons of Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) and Raffinate-2 products at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) in the 2nd month of the current Iranian year (April 21 through May 21, 2021), said the official IRENEX report obtained by Trend.
According to the IRENEX, the products were sold on the international floor of the IRENEX within the second month.
So, the Shimibaft Petrochemical Company sold 4,800 tons of MTBE and 5,500 tons of Raffinate 2 products during the reporting month.
The value of company’s sales for the 2nd month amounted to 1.23 trillion rials (about $4.5 million).
A total of 71.2 trillion rials (about $260 million) worth of products were sold at the Iran Energy Exchange in the 2nd month of the current Iranian year.
The products at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) are sold under the SANA exchange rate.
The SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is currently 307,427 rials, and the price of $1 is 274,615 rials.
Iran's Shimibaft Petrochemical Company produces a number of products, including MTBE (methyl tert-butyl ether), Raffinate 2, MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone), SBA (Secondary Butyl Alcohol), Raffinate 3 and etc.
