Iran`s oil exports had significantly grown in the current Iranian year (started on March 21) compared to the preceding year, said Iran's Oil Minister Javad Owji, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Owji made the remark in a meeting held among Iran's president Ebrahim Raisi, other ministers, members of the parliament.
At the meeting Owji presented a report on Iran's export of oil, gas and petrochemicals in the last 100 days.
"According to statistics, the amount of oil sales has increased significantly compared to last year,” he said.
Iran’s oil exports dropped from more than 2 million barrels per day in 2016-2017 to less than 200,000 in 2019, following the US withdrawal from JCPOA.
