The volume of coal, both produced and imported to Kazakhstan in September 2021 amounted to 10.26 million tons, which is 11.1 percent more than in September last year and 12.8 percent more than in August, Trend reports with reference to Kazakh media.
According to the information, in the first nine months this figure amounted to 82.4 million tons, which is 1.3 percent more than last year.
It is reported that the volume of coal production in Kazakhstan in September 2021 amounted to 10.22 million tons (an increase of 11.5 relative to September last year and 12.9 percent compared to August), while imports amounted to 41,000 tons (a decrease of 44 and 13, 7 percent respectively).
It is noted that 2.8 million tons of this volume were exported in September, which is 11.7 percent more than in September 2020 and 8.4 percent more than in August 2021.
