BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 16. Iranian Oil Terminals Company (IOTC) is ready to export crude oil to the maximum, the executive director of the company Abbas Asadruz told reporters, Trend reports citing Shana News Agency.

He made the remark at the 26th International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition in Tehran on May 15, 2022.

According to Asadruz, of course, increasing Iran's crude oil export is a decision to be made by the country.

The director also added that Iran intends to fill the gap in oil exports to Europe following the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The Oil Terminals Company is the executor of the policies of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), while finding customers for crude oil and selling crude oil is the responsibility of the NIOC.

“At the same time, the company's crude oil storage capacity at the Khark oil terminal will increase by 4.2 million barrels. In this regard, 3 storage facilities with a capacity of 1 million barrels each, as well as 2 storage facilities with a capacity of 600,000 barrels each will be built in the country,” he said.

On May 14, 2022, the 26th International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition opened in Tehran and will last for 3 days.
