BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 23. Azerbaijan’s total crude oil and oil products’ exports stood at around 9.481 million tons worth $6.54 billion from January through April 2022, Trend reports with reference to the State Customs Committee.
In terms of import volume, Italy came in first with 4.373 million tons worth $3.041 billion, followed by Israel with 790,540 tons worth $539.175 million and Portugal with 573,651 tons worth $400.522 million.

There are three main oil pipelines transporting oil from Azerbaijan to its neighbours and on to world markets: Baku-Novorossiysk Pipeline, Baku-Supsa Pipeline and Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) Pipeline.
In addition, railway lines traversing the length of Azerbaijan are also used to convey oil to the Batumi and Kulevi terminals located on the Black Sea along the coast of Georgia.
