BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 3. The volume of natural gas production amounted to 1.06 billion cubic meters, in Kazakhstan, in March 2022, which is 7.5 percent more than in March 2021 and 9.2 percent less than in February 2022, Trend reports citing Kazakh Statistics Committee.
The volume of production amounted to 3.1 billion cubic meters in 1Q2022, which is 0.6 percent more than in the same period last year.
According to the committee, Kazakhstan imported 905.7 million cubic meters of natural gas in March 2022, which is 13.9 percent less than in March 2021 and 29.9 percent more than in February 2022.
According to the results of 1Q2022, imports amounted to 2.5 billion cubic meters, which is also 25.8 percent less than in the same period last year.
A total of 2.1 billion cubic meters of natural gas were exported in March 2022, which means an increase of 2.2 times compared to March 2021 and 2.6 times compared to February 2022.
According to the results of 1Q2022, exports amounted to 3.8 billion cubic meters, which is 7 percent less than in the same period last year.
There were no sales on the domestic market in March 2022.
Sales in the domestic market for 1Q2022 amounted to 1.7 billion cubic meters, which is 24.3 percent less than in the same period last year.
