BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 26. Iran's Ghadeer Petrochemical Company produced about 34,000 tons of Polyvinyl chloride (PVC), during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through June 21, 2022), which is a new record for the company's production, the Executive Director of the company Hossein Safari said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.
The director emphasized that the company’s PVC production increased by 46 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
Safari added that of the total volume, 12,000 tons were produced in the 3rd month of current Iranian year (May 22 through June 21).
"In order to increase production, the Ghadeer Petrochemical Company intends to implement a project with the help of a local startup company," he said.
Iran's Ghadeer Petrochemical Company can produce 120,000 tons of PVC a year.
