BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 10. Iran's gas export to Türkiye has been resumed as of October 10, 2022, Manager of the Dispatching Department of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) Mohammad Reza Joulaei told Shana News Agency, Trend reports.

According to Joulaei, Iran's gas export to Türkiye was suspended for 8 days due to pipeline repair work in both countries. The repair work has been completed and exports resumed today as of 10:10 local time (GMT+3:30).

Reportedly, Iran exported an average of 70 million cubic meters of gas per day during the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through August 22, 2022), which is an increase of 19 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.

At present, Iran's gas production is reportedly more than 1 billion cubic meters per day.
