Iran’s oil export revenues skyrocket

TEHRAN, Iran, October 12. Iran’s oil export revenue in the first five months of the current Iranian year(started March 21, 2022) has increased eight times more than the same time last year (started March 21, 2021), Trend reports citing Tasnim News Agency.

The official statistic reports issued by the Iranian government show that the country’s revenue from the export of oil and oil products has octupled in the first five months of the current year.

Iran’s oil export revenue in the last Iranian year has also increased eleven times more than the previous year in 2020.

The government’s general revenues have also increased 66.5 percent during the first five months of the current year.

The country’s non-oil economic growth had increased from 3.1 percent in 2021 to 4.3 percent in the spring of 2022.

According to the reports, the country’s inflation rate declined by 3.7 percent in August compared to the same time last year.

The Gini index of 0.39 percent shows a slight improvement in the distribution of revenue in the last Iranian year which is expected to progress in the current year.
