The Belamo company from Belarus will deliver in July the first lot of gas meters for the JSC Azerigaz, purchased in the framework of the Cabinet of Minister’s Edict N43 of 8 February 2005, the JSC told Trend. Under the contract, the company will provide the Azerigaz with 30,000 gas meters of the G-6 type. The contract’s price is $840,000.
The gas meters of the G-6 types are intended for operation in large buildings, villas and other objects, where 10 cubic meters of gas in an hour are used. After receiving gas meters, their testing and sealing will be carried out. Azerigaz plans to finish installation of gas meters by the year-end.
Within the Edict, totally 120,000 gas meters have been purchased. Delivery of the rest part of gas meters will be performed by the "Sanayedjihaz" company (50,000 gas meters of G-2,5 and 40,000 of G-4 types). The company offered to deliver the gas meters for $1,790 million.
