The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) set up the test of security in its own oil and gas facilities, Trend reports.
"A special commission comprised of specialists of the SOCAR, Fire Security Department at the Interior Ministry, has been established to carry out the work. The tests target study of security of the facilities, following of security rules, readiness to unexpected situations, the SOCAR said.
The tests are currently held at the Dubendi terminal of the SOCAR. The facilities to undergo the test are the oil and gas producing units (OGPU) of Azneft Production Association (AP) of the SOCAR, terminals, sea stationary platforms and different facilities.
