Repair works on he second hydro-unit of the Araz hydro-electrical power station are completely over, the JSC Azenerji press service told Trend.
According to the Azenerji President Etibar Pirverdiyev, the power station will operate to the maximum (MWt) in winter.
Today everything at the Araz hydro-electrical power station is oriented at the forthcoming winter season. The power station has already performed the general overhaul of one of the hydro-units turbines, as well as the mid-life repair of other block’s components. The Azerenerjitikinti (construction company attached to Azenerji) company performs these works.
The Araz hydro-electrical power station remains currently the only energy вЂ" generating object on the territory of the blockaded Nachichevan Autonomous Republic.
