During January вЂ"June the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) shipped 990,500 tons oil of the Ural brand from Novorossiysk, which is for 500,500 less of the similar period of 2004, SOCAR told Trend.
According to the SOCAR data, in July the Ural oil shipment from Novorossiysk was 84,700 tons, which is for 5,800 tons less of June 2005 and for 124,700 tons more of July 2004.
Decrease of oil shipments from Novorossiysk by SOCAR is explained by the fact, that the oil was pumped for several months in the first half-year through the northern pipeline by the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC).
During 2004, SOCAR sold 2559,1 thousand tons of oil from Novorossiysk, which is for 77,1 thousand tons more of 2003. The price for pumping of 1 ton oil through the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline is $15,67.
