The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) intends to sell a next tanker of Azeri Light
, produced by the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) under the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli contract area, from the Georgian port Batumi at the ender.
The volume of the oil sold at FOB from the Batumi will comprise 80,000 tons, the SOCAR told Trend. The previous tanker of Azeri Light of the SOCAR was purchased by the trader Arcadia.
The Batumi oil terminal is capable trans-shipping up to 15 mln tons per year. The tankers with deadweight of 30-90 thousand tons serve the terminal at four piers, including remote buoy for ships of category Aframax. Presently, the capacity of reservoir park of the terminal is about 530 thousand tons, this is quite enough for trans-shipment of current and projected volumes, passing via corridor.
