The Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) set up production from the sixth exploitation well from the Central Azeri field in August 2005, the AIOC told Trend.
At present the work on instance of the seventh well to the platform is underway. In general, it is planned to produce oil from 10 exploitation wells on the CA.
The efficiency of exploitation of a platform in the CA comprises 82.2%. In 2005 total production from the CA will comprise approximately 39 million barrels, 106,000 barrels a day in average.
