During the period from January to September 2005 the Oil and Gas Producing Units (OGPU) of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) handed over 5926,4 thousand tons of various quality oil produced in the amount of 5992,9 thousand tons to the company for the export and refining, SOCAR told Trend .
From January to September the foreign companies in the framework of the joint ventures (JV) and operating companies (OC), extracting oil on the on-shore fields with the SOCAR involvement handed over 724,5 thousand of oil produced in the amount of 730,2 thousand tons to SOCAR, both for export and on terms “local market oil”.
From January to September OGPU SOCAR handed over 2432,5 million cubic meters gas to SOCAR for refining and distributing inside the country by the production amount of 2857,8 million cubic meters.
The Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) produced 1186 million cubic meters gas from January to September 2005 on the Azeri-Chirag вЂ"Gyuneshli field with the fuel handed over to SOCAR in the amount of 1055 million cubic meters. The difference was used by AIOC for oil and gas operations during drilling and extracting.
