The Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) commissioned the seventh well in the central part of the Azeri oilfield in October, Trend reports.
The seventh well produce 20,000 barrels of Azeri Light oil in a day. “The total oil production in the Central Azeri exceeds 250,0 barrels per day,” the AIOC said.
The company plans to produce oil from 10 exploitation oilfields. The effectiveness of exploitation of the platform comprises 82.2%. The total production in the Central Azeri is supposed to be approximately 39m barrels or 106,000 barrels in a day.
From January to August 2005 AIOC produced 7.37m tons oil or 3,220 tons more as compared 2004.
