From January to September the Azerbaijan International operating Company (AIOC) developing the on-shore block Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli exported totally 7,511m tons oil or 2.97m tons more as compared 2004.
From January to September 5,157m tons of the Azeri Light brand have been exported via the Baku-Supsa pipeline (the western route), through Baku- Novorossiysk (the northern route) - 1,683m tons of the crude, AIOC told Trend. In the Georgian direction, to the port of Batumi, 671,500 tons were shipped from January to September.
In September 2005 AIOC transported 1,173 tons along three routes or 224,700 tons less as compared August 2005 and 617,000 tons more as compared September 2004. AIOC noted that a total of this volume 589,400 tons were pumped in September via the western route, via the northern route - 328,112,000 tons, via Baku-Batumi route вЂ" 256,000 tons.
