The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) put into exploitation an oil well on the Shallow-water Gunashli field, the SOCAR told Trend.
Debit of well 430 drilled on the sea stationary platform 13 is 140 tons a day (including water content of 30%). The project depth of the well is 3800m.
The SOCAR said that at present 5 well were under drilling on Gunashli field, Bayil Limani drilling unit is involved in the drilling work.
Development of field "Guneshli" is conducted since 1980. It is located to South-East from Apsheron peninsula and provides up to 65% of production of Azerbaijan oil and 83% of marine production of the state. Balance reserves of area are estimated at 94-130 mln tons of oil.
