“The energy supply carried out to Georgia by Azerbaijan in stead of Russia may be suspended till late week,” Marlen Asgarov, the Vice-President of the Azerenerji JSC, told Trend.
According to Asgarov, Georgia suppose to manage with the consequences of the accident in the mountainous regions that allow Azerbaijan to suspend the energy supply to the country.
“The Azerbaijani energy system works in interconnection with the Georgian one and we transfer 1.5-2m KW/H energy per day,” he added.
Azerbaijan returns the energy to Russia at rush-hours.
