In November the Batumi oil terminal, located on the Black Sea, is supposed to ship 480,000 tons Azeri Light, or 160,000 more as compared October 2005, Trend reports referring to sources at the oil transportation market.
The oil will be shipped by 4 tankers per 80,000 tons.
Over 2004 The Batumi port shipped 6,778m tons oil products, or 1.9m tons less as compared 2003.
Azerbaijani oil is shipped to Batumi by the shareholders of the Azerbaijan International Oil Company (AIOC) exploiting the oilfield Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli.
The Batumi oil terminal is capable to ship around 15m tons oil products per year.
