In January to October 2005 Gasexport ltd, a daughter company of Gasprom, has delivered 3.78 billion cu m of gas to Azerbaijan against 3.93 billion cu m over 10 month of 2004, Azeriqaz JSC told Trend.
According to an official of Azeriqaz, in October 2005 Gasexport delivered to Azerbaijan 293.6 million cu m of gas, or 53.6 million cu m more than September 2005 and 151.4 million cu m more than October 2004.
This year the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan plan to purchase 4.5-5 billion cu m of gas from Gasexport at $60 per 1000 cu m. The natural gas is transport to Azerbaijan via the Shirvanovka-Gazimahommad pipeline.
“In compliance with the schedule, we were to receive 279 million cu m of gas in October, while the company received only 293.6 million cu m of fuel,” Azeriqaz said.
