At present around 40% of the 270km subsea pipelines under Stage 1 of Shah-
Daniz project, BP, an operator of the project, announced on Wednesday. The construction work under a subsea pipelines construction program implemented as part of Stage 1 will be complete by late 2006.
The construction of subsea pipelines under Stage 1 was set up in September 2005. The program includes the construction of three pipelines with the length of 90km. 26-inch gas pipeline, 12-inch pipeline for condensate and 4-inch вЂ" for pumping mono-ethylenglikol.
Israfil Husseynov pipe-laСѓing barge is involved in the implementation of the program, while McDermott Caspian Contractors acts as contractor.
