Gazexport Ltd (a daughter structure of the Gazprom Joint Stock Company (JSC) will start deliveries of natural gas to Azerbaijan at the price of $110 per 1,000 cubic meters. Gazexport Ltd plans to supply per 14,4 million cu m of fuel daily (446 million cu m in January totally), Azerigaz JSC told Trend.
During 2005 Gazexport Ltd. supplied 4,54 billion cu m of gas to Azerbaijan against 4,931 billion cu m in 2004. Azeriqaz JSC noted, in December 2005 the Gazexport Ltd delivered 386 million cu m of gas to Azerbaijan against 374 million cu m one month before.
This year the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) plans to purchase some 4,5 billion cu m of gas from Gazexport Ltd at the price of $110 per 1,000 cu m against $60 per 1,000 cu m in 2005. The natural gas is delivered to Azerbaijan through the gas pipeline Shirvanovka-Gazimagomed.
