The Kazakh government is currently considering Azerbaijans proposals on the construction of the subsea gas pipeline in the Caspian for export of Kazakh gas to Europe, the Kazakh embassy in Baku told Trend.

The issue requires detailed and comprehensive consideration. Experts of the Kazakh government have set up the study of the details of the project, the same source said. The issue will be discussed during the forthcoming visit of Kazakh Premier Danial Ahmedov to Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijani Premier Artur Rasizade had given a proposal to his Kazakh counterpart Ahmedov in a meeting held during the inauguration of newly elected Kazakh President, Nursultan Nazarbayev. The project will enable Kazakhstan to transport gas to Europe via the territory of Azerbaijan.
