The Finnish Wartsila has accomplished the start-up and adjustment works at the Astrara modular electrical power station, the Azerenerji Joint Stock Company (JSC) reports, according to Trend. Testing of generators, transformers, automatic equipment and electrical transmission lines has been held at the station in the hard mode.
Under the presidential decree Azerenerji JSC is charged with ensuring construction and commissioning of 52 such facilities, which will be installed in Baku, Nakhchevan, Astara, Sheki, Hazmaz regions.
Construction of such electrical power stations will enable to increase the volume of the power generation in Azerbaijan for 450-460 MWt.
