This year the power generation exceeds the last year figure by 450 MW. The total generation capacity of national energy system with import is 4,000 MW.

Over half of the generated power (approximately 2100 MW) is given to the energy distributor Barmek, which manages the distribution networks in Baku, Sumgayit and northern regions of the country.

The JSC said that that the energy import was also increased. Thus, energy flow from Russia comprised 4 million KW/h, from - 2,250 million and from Turkey 1,330 KW/h.

The substations of the JSC work in this regime. However, an energy distributing company Barmek has not passed to a winter regime of transformers.
