Georgia and Iran signed an agreement on purchase of Iranian gas via Azerbaijan. Under the contract, Iran will supply 30 million cu m of gas within 15 days, Azerigas joint-stock company told Trend.
Azerbaijan will collect transit fees for pumping the Iranian gas via its territory. The JSC told Trend that the sum will coincide to gas pumping tariffs applied in CIS.
Besides, Azerbaijan will continue delivering own gas to Georgia in the volume of 2 million cu m a day. Thus, over 15 days Georgia will receive approximately 4 million cu m of gas from Azerbaijan.
