Р'Р , operating the Azeri-Chirag-Gyuneshli development project accomplished connection of the 9-th advance well with the platform mounted on the central part of the Azeri field, the company told Trend. The wells production rate is currently 10,000 barrels a day.
12 wells have been drilled within the advance bore program on the field. Among them, 10 are production wells, one is for gas injecting into the layer and one is for injecting of drilling cuttings. After completion of the advance wells connecting, drilling directly from the platform will be commenced.
This year BP oil and gas condensate production volume totally is expected at the level of 458,000 barrels a day. From this amount 19,000 barrels of condensate a day are supposed to produce on the Shah-Deniz field. On Chirag -138,000 barrels of the Azeri Light oil will be produced, on Central Azeri - 226,000 barrels and on the Western Azeri - 75,000 barrels daily.
