The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) closed down a trader on sale of 50,000 tons of aviation kerosene TS-1 to be transported via the Georgian port Batumi, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) told Trend. Roc Oil won the tender, under which the trader will receive oil products within 4 months.
According to an official of the SOCAR, the kerosene will be sold to Roc Oil by two tankers each comprising 25,000 tons. The second tanker will be organized following the capacities of the plant, the SOCAR said.
In 2005 the SOCAR sold through tender 150,000 tons of avia kerosene of TS-1 brand. Roc Oil is a traditional buyer of Azerbaijani oil and oil products via the Black sea ports.
