About 10,6 million cubic meters of gas daily is currently supplied to the population of Baku, the Azerigaz enterprise, Bakgaz told Trend. As the Azerigaz Joint Stock Company noted, the record high volumes are supplied this year to the population which is explained by the high consumption level. In January 2005 the population has been provided with about 8 million cubic meters of gas.
Gas deliveries in present volumes will remain further, Bakgaz noted. Along with this, the enterprises spokesmen noted, collection of charges for the fuel supplied to the consumers reduced. In December last year this figure was about 17% across Baku, where there is main consumption. In January this index lowered by 4%, as deliveries have grown essentially.
