Azerbaijan plans to assist in use of local infrastructure for implementation of oil projects in Caspian Sea

The Azerbaijani government considers use of infrastructure, involved in oil projects, to participate in the works of Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Russia, Mikayil Jabbarov, the deputy Minister of Economic Development, told Trend. It will allow keeping jobs for local citizens.

There is modern equipment up to requirements of the Caspian countries in the infrastructure, but use of local infrastructure demands solution of some issues, including, matters of legislative character.

At present there are several objects, working within the project on development of the fields Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli, Guneshli, Shah-Daniz. Besides, there are offices and sites of many service and contractor companies, bearing own equipment, in Baku.
