Increase of gas tariffs is not expected in Azerbaijan till late 2006, Trend reports quoting Nazim Samadzade, the first deputy chair of Azerigas JSC.
According to Samadzade, in 2007 the figure will depend on value and amount of gas importing from Russia, as well as amount of fuel extracting from local fields.
In 2006 Azerbaijan plans to acquire 4.5bn cu m of gas at $110 per cu m from Russia. In 2006 Azerigas will receive around 7.3bn cu m of gas within extraction from the local fields.
