A conference on the role of the industrial facilities of Sumgayit in the development of the industrial potential, organized on the initiative of the Industry and Energy Ministry and Executive power of Sumgayit city will be held on April 12, the Ministry `s press-release told Trend.
The matters of the perspective development of new and re-organized facilities, working in the chemistry, light industry, building materials and machinery areas will be under the discussion. The investment climate of these facilities will be identified. The similar arrangements are expected to be held in other regions of the country.
Officials from ministries of economic development, ecology and natural resources, the State Oil Company, Azeriqaz, Azerenerji will be at the conference. An exhibition of the industrial achievements in Sumgayit will also be opened at the conference.
