Middle East Petroleum raised the oil products transfer via Dubendi

The Middle East Petroleum (the Durbendi terminal oil trader and operator in Azerbaijan) has transferred 303.62300 tons of oil products via terminal, which is 12, 5% more than in the similar period of the last year, the Middle East Petroleum told Trend.

The total amount of accepted oil loads is 280.48200 tons, being 4, 8% less than in the similar period of 2005. 2.866 million tons of oil products have been transferred by the terminal last year and accepted 2.87 million tons.

The Middle East Petroleum has signed a contract with Azertrans for the long term use of its Baku terminal in order to transfer the oil loads, Azpetrol said Trend.

The terminal` s capacity is 4m 800.000 tons a year. 1m 600.000 tons have been transferred via the terminal in 2005; 1m 450.000 of crude oil

and 165.000 of oil products. The maximum reloading capacity of the facility is 400.000 tons a month.

Middle East is a part of Azerbaijani holding Azersun Holding and is specializing in the oil transfers from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan. Azersun Holding was founded in 1992 and is working is the food industry area.
