The planned repairs will be started at the drilling installation Dede Gorgut this May. The total change of the residence bloc of the installation, cleaning and neutralization of the polluting liquids and works on the management system of the preventing mechanisms will be conducted.
The repair is expected to be over by the July 10th, SOCAR told Trend. After the end of repair works the drilling installation will be returned to the deepwater part of Guneshli field to continue the advance drilling. The installation belongs to CDC.
This installation is currently used for the advance bore drilling at the Guneshli field deepwater part, within the frames of the Azeri-Chiraq- Guneshli project, operated by BP.
