In the first quarter of 2006 the average daily production of Azeri Light brand of oil lifted by the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunahsli field comprised 384,000 barrels.
David Woodward, the President of the BP Azerbaijan, an operator of the AIOC, stated to a news conference in Baku on 19 April, Trend reports
In 2006 the average daily oil production will reach 439,000 barrels. Production from the Chirag field will constitute 138,000 barrels, Central Azeri 226,000 barrels, and West Azeri 75,000 barrels, according to Woodward.
