McDermott is planning to send the upper constructions of West Azeri platform for installation to the platform in June- July, the
deepwater foundations factory named after Heydar Aliyev, hosting the building site of the platform told Trend.
BP is planning to start extraction procedures at the Azeri field by the end of this year, which is largely ahead of the schedule. Though, it has been previously planned to start extraction in the second quarter of the next year.
Construction of the upper parts for the East Azeri platform is continued according to the schedule and is basically ready on 93%; desk is practically ready, all heavy equipment and constructions also have been installed on the desk.
