The Makhachkala terminal, located in the Caspian, has delivered 953,000 tons of oil in the first quarter of 2006 in the direction of Iran and Russian, which 2% less than 2005, regional market of oil deliveries told Trend.
In March 2006 the oil delivery made up 293,000 tons, or 16.3% less than February 2006.
In 2005 the terminal delivered 4.3 million tons of oil, or 8% more than 2004.
The project capacity of the terminal in Makhachkala is approximately 8 million tons of oil a year. Three piers of the ports are in conditions to admit tankers with deadweight of 10,000 tons.
